Position Overview:

Job Description:

l  Working within a team, taking concept drawings from the client’s architect and producing detailed shop drawings, translating customer specification/ visuals into technical drawings.

l  Design and quote kitchens that meet the client’s needs and wants.

l  Work with the clients from start to finish.

l  Designing and working in the office & doing onsite visits for site measure and design discussions with clients.

 

Qualifications & Required Skills:

 

l  Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.

l  Good communicator, both written and oral to liaise with clients/subcontractors.

l  Methodical worker with good time management skills able to meet deadlines.

l  CAD experience is a great advantage.

Kitchen Cabinet Installer

Position Overview:

The main responsibility of this role is to provide the highest level of installation standards while maintaining a professional attitude with the utmost respect for the customer’s property.

Job Description:

l  Fabricates, shapes, fits, installs, assemble and repairs wood parts, fittings and fixtures in residential/commercial construction buildings to make cabinet furniture.

l  Read and interpret layouts in order to prepare accurate installation.

l  Measuring and cutting materials to the right size and shape.

l  Preparing and assembling the wood parts to make furniture or form sections of furniture.

l  Erecting and installing or repairing cabinets, drawers, shelves and boards.

l  Fitting hinges, locks and catches.

l  Refurbishing and repairing the existing wood furniture and fittings.

l  Works closely with the design team, factory staff & management. Being a team player with strong communication skills is a must.

l  Clean and maintain work areas including machinery and tools to ensure a safe working environment.

l  Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property  and information.

l  Will practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite

l  Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment.

l  Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

l  Cabinetry certification, and / or 1+years experience in related field

l  Excellent carpentry and hand tool skills

l  Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.)

l  Required to have knowledge of cabinet installation with the ability to take accurate measurements.

l  Possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

l  Ability to work within a team or independently as needed.
